Nelson Olmsted was one of the last great radio horror performers. Born Leroy Nelson Olmsted, Jr. in Minnesota, he became an announcer for local radio stations in Texas. Confusing, but the stories read are done well

Nelson Olmsted seems to have had a number of radio shows, all of which are him reading famous/popular stories. I'v e only listened to about 10 of these shows, but I am enjoying them. Thank you for the upload.

Thanks so much for posting these. Do you happen to have his recording of a short story by Jack Snow? I believe it was supposed to have aired on April 26, 1947.
