Conan Doyle’s story was wonderful. Unfortunately, as many other reviewers have stated the most prominent narrator detracted from any enjoyment that could be obtained. Particularly painful was her narration of the Latin in one of the appendices. I’m glad I had an ebook so I could follow along which allowed me to understand what was going on.

Good book but Dion Giants the narrator is painful. It is like listening to alexa read.

Got lost a few time during the story bad reading by the lady
