De Planeteneter is a captivating science fiction radio drama that follows astronauts John Doorn, Erica Blanker, and Peter Landsheer as they return to civilization after a harrowing emergency landing in the Brazilian jungle. Their incredible tale involves witnessing a massive moonquake and claiming to have seen a mysterious entity flying from the moon to Earth, which they suspect consumes planets from within.

Despite their extraordinary claims, the astronauts struggle to find anyone who believes their story. In a last-ditch effort, Professor Kimbal attempts to protect them from a severe psychological evaluation, but he too begins to question the dogmas surrounding their experience. Will the world be saved in time?

This series consists of 30 parts, with each episode running approximately 9 minutes. The program is presented in Dutch and features a talented cast, including Jan Borkus, Marijke Merckens, and Hans Karsenbarg.
