In Nawashi, Brian Stanford discovered the world is filled with mages who use sexual magic to achieve their goals - whether freedom or repression. Drawn into the struggle is his wife, Bec, captured by the Mauls, soldiers of the Wrinkled Man. Bec is taken into the dark underworld of New York's sex trade, to be used as a pawn against her husband.

But the Wrinkled Man has not accounted for her own strength, and even as she is drawn further into the ordeal path Bec fights her own battles against the repressors. It is a fight for her body, mind, and soul - and in the dark world of sexual magic, survival may not mean victory.

I realy liked Nawashi but this one i could not finish listening as its too disturbing and there is absolutley nothing erotic or magic about it anymore. Just too brutal and disgusting. It realy made me feel sick. I think that should be stated more clearly in the descripton. Very ...

Interesting story, however the music definitely interferes with the enjoyment of the story. It's like having Britney Spears between chapters of a Stephen King book.

I'm going to come off very geeky with this but it really is the best way I can sum up. Like any good opera or even the Star Wars Trilogy the second movie/act is the act where everyone suffers. Jujun is no exception. Definitely the darker book of the two ...

Intense, dark, surprising

Definitely pay attention to the trigger warnings -- he's not joking. very intense, but made me feel a lot more by the end than expected. Great, well-rounded female characters especially, although not always in love with how he reads the female voices.

Erotic / Adult – Wrong category! This is an amazing story that holds you by the balls. Matrix meets Graydanser for want of a better description. I don’t know where we’re going but I’m with it all the way!

Loved Nawashi and looking forward to starting Jujun today. Graydancers experience shows in his writing and pulls the reader along. Is there a third? Kinbakusi perhaps? *smile* Thanks Graydancer!
